The position will be available as of 15 May 2021.It will be remunerated at pay grade E13 TV-L (public-sector collectiveagreement of the German federal states).Job descriptionWe are looking for a motivated person with initiative and passion forresearch and teaching. In order to ensure the best possible supervision foryour research work and to facilitate points of contact for joint projects,your research interests should fit well with ours (e.g. open innovation,open science, alliance governance, entrepreneurship, platform-basedinnovation, team science). We are well networked with internationalresearchers and attach great importance to international cooperation andvisibility. It is important to us that scientific findings make a realimpact on society. The position offers the opportunity to assist inevidence-based policy advice (Expert Commission on Research and Innovationof the German Federal Government) and to gain valuable insights.Person specificationYou have a very good master's degree in economics or one of the otherfields related to our research (e.g. computer science or biotechnology).Since our research is primarily empirical, it is important to us that youhave an interest in and initial experience with empirical quantitativeresearch methods. Preferably, you have already established methodologicalfoundations during your degree studies and applied them when writing yourseminar papers, dissertation or thesis, or in subsequent research projects.You should have a good command of written and spoken English. Initialexperience in university teaching would be an advantage.
