Internship as Software Developer for Digital Railway Infrastructure (f/m/d) in Frankfurt am Main

We are looking for you to support DB Netz AG for 6 months as an intern starting as soon as possible in Frankfurt am Main. As a Software Developer Intern, you will join a team of professionals whose role is to design, develop and test a software prototype to automate the engineering and planing processes of railway assets. The role will allow you to learn software development processes throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases. Responsibilities include but not limited to the following tasks: • Supporting the lead developer in coding and designing of the Software • Assess new application ideas • Exploring AI and Machine learning algorithms for automating processes Your profile: • Field of study in Computer Science or IT • Previous programming experience in Java and C/C++ • Skills in any other functional languages {Java,Python, JavaScript, R,Lua, SQL,MYSQL} would be an advantage but these are not mandatory • A strong ambition towards software development • Excellent analytical skills, good attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities • Good verbal and written communication skills • Project-oriented; focused on quality and delivery • Good team worker and self reliant • Reliable and organized
