The Role: One of my clients are looking for a talented, passionate Hardware Developer to join their young and growing development team! When it comes to sustainable products, innovation and system solutions for control systems, this company is the expert point of contact. They focus on topics such as Customised Development/ solutions, System and machinery automation for their Automotive, Aviation, Medical, Mechanical and Metal engineering clients to name a few! Responsibilities: • Implementing and developing the PCB for electronic boards with Embedded controllers and analogue functions (CPU). • Developing these electronic boards and circuit diagrams for the layout whilst building the mechanics which go around these boards. • Assisting with the production focusing on testing, repairing, developing test procedures, and building prototypes for test stands. • Units for the test stands are built from the companies own components in which you will need to put the units in and enclosure to wire them. Preferred Background: • You have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relatable field. • Your experiences with C and VHDL are on expert level. • Experience with Altium Designer for schematic entry and layout. • Experience in PCB design for both schedule and layout. • Experience in the design and construction of microcomputer and / or FPGA based circuit boards with peripheral circuits, power supply etc .• Experience with analogue construction and have lab and instrument experience.
