This means that each position has its own specific responsibilities, challenges and matching profile. Your trainee year will be filled with meet-ups with your international trainee team with likeminded individuals. You will be meeting up virtually to work on assignments and live during four seminar weeks where you will be visiting our power plants and growing your superpowers with a variety of trainings. Your role as a Trainee – Asset Managerment Offshore Wind The Asset Management team in Business Unit Offshore Wind takes the owner perspective of the Offshore Wind portfolio to ensure that BA Wind optimises the lifetime profitability of our operating offshore windfarms. This means long term value creation by balancing costs, risks and revenue drivers.You will be a key person in the journey to ensure that ‘Best-for-Vattenfall’ decisions are taken by balancing input from our subject-matter experts across the organisation. Thereby, you will have to use your full expertise of technical and commercial knowledge combined with strong network management skills to lift the performance of all assets within a particular platform to the top quartile of our industry. Your daily activities: Supporting the Asset Management team in taking end-to end responsibility for identifying and driving a constant pipeline of strategic initiatives to improve the lifetime NPV of the particular platform and overall windfarm Driving and delivering commercial analyses and business cases for decisions of high strategic importance such as major component exchanges/repair projects, risk mitigation measures, technical upgrades, End of Life Strategies etc Preparing decision material, including business cases recommendations to senior management Secure asset performance analysis/tracking of the assets, incl. initiation of actions in case of target deviations Optimizing business cases alongside experienced colleges Preparing decision material, including business cases recommendations to senior management Plan and drive projects and workshops with stakeholders of strategic importance Contribute to other asset management topics such as development of long term asset plans, internal/external benchmarking, performance analysis, etc. Who areyou?Whether you want a climate smarter career as an energy specialist, visionary manager or inspirational project lead in the energy sector, we offer you these possibilities within the Trainee Programme.
