As a (Junior) Financial Controller at RAD-x you will undertake and be involved in all aspects of financial management of a rapidly growing company, including corporate accounting, financial and management reporting, budget and forecast preparation, cash management as well as investment controlling. The individual will work across multiple entities with diverse operations in multiple countries and reports to the Group Controller, coordinates the tasks with him, and agrees on the targets, but can also organize their work independently and set priorities in their working environment. Working at RAD-x is a highly dynamic and growth focussed working environment; the role requires a hands-on approach with specific responsibilities for shaping controlling processes and design of data processes within and between legal entities. Position Accountabilities Support of controlling processes, such as group reporting, operational reporting, and budgeting as well rolling forecasts, through data handling between local units and between different system landscapes; accounting systems, JEDOX and Excel. Assist in investment controlling, assessing potential acquisition targets by supporting the financial due diligence process and help to financially integrate the new businesses into the group Active participation in the further development of controlling systems and processes to meet deadlines and improve data quality. Investigate and report on differences in actuals, budget, and forecast. Support designing and implementing procedures to ensure continuous improvement to accelerate the data flow in the systems. Identify improvements on operational and group reporting procedures, supporting the implementation of new processes. Preparation of annual budgets and of monthly reporting for group entities. Support of legal entities in data handling, monitoring of data in reporting and planning system. Supporting the management and Group Controller in the development of proactive liquidity planning for the companies and at the group level; assisting in rolling cash forecast. Master data management for the reporting system. Requirements A university degree in economics or comparable education and a strong understanding of numbers is required. At least one year of experience in Finance & Controlling. Strong affinity for computer software and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of JEDOX Reporting-tool is a plus. Good understanding of the interrelationships between controlling and external accounting as well as between P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements. Experience with month-end reporting and in reconciling and analyzing financial accounts. Open-minded individual, who can communicate with colleagues in the local entities and is able to independently coordinate desired requirements with the local entities. Fluency in German & English, with French a plus.
