Weber Shandwick's International healthcare practice is a team of 8 health communications specialists, all of whom hail from various countries, each being a significant contributor to the strategic development of the business and its growth plans. This is an exciting opportunity that will provide the successful hire with a major client (the largest client across the network) to work predominantly across a range of innovative and exciting global communications campaigns supporting Multiple Sclerosis. The role is for an Associate (Account Executive) candidate. The successful hire must be either a native English speaker or speak/write English fluently. In Germany, the firm's healthcare offering is extremely impressive - separated into 4 divisions, it operates from offices in Frankfurt, Berlin, Cologne and Holzkirchen (near Munich). The International Healthcare Team works across both the Frankfurt and Berlin offices, so candidates currently based in either city, would be suitable. The work has included a wide range of health communications projects and includes disease awareness campaigns, advocacy, digital innovation, and projects around the changing health policy landscape. Previous experience should include at least 6-18 months in the background in healthcare/medical communications, particularly RX, and ideally with an understanding of the complexities of big pharma.
