Since 2009 Evonik Industries AG has been certified as a family-friendly company by the German Hertie Foundation.MEET THE TEAM - Learn more about Evonik from our employeesRESPONSIBILITIES - Compounding of silica-filled silicone elastomers and investigation of their mechanical and optical properties - Analysis, documentation, interpretation and presentation of experimental results - Development and optimization of test methods relevant for the silicone application technology - Participation in development and innovation projectsREQUIREMENTS - A minimum of 120 ECTS points in a Bachelor program – preferably in the field of chemistry, polymer or material science. - Practical experience in laboratory work; ability to record experimental data, to draw preliminary conclusions, to write reports and use basic graphics programs to depict results. - Interest in structure-property relationships of reinforced polymers - Strong verbal and written English communications skills, German is an advantage. - Basic software skills (MS Office) - Ability to work in a team - Initiative, good sense of responsibility, flexible
