Role summary

The People Coordinator, is a generalist role who acts as a first point of contact between the retail team and People Department. Reporting to the correspondent HRBP of the area is able to coordinate and manage all possible topics regarding people management and development working in close contact with, HQ professionals on one side, and all retail team on the other.

Mission

• Communicate MANGO clear people strategy internally and externally. Work across the different areas of people to implement integrated operational HR solutions in order to assists managers to implement the values and culture of the company.

• Provide quality HR Services and expert insight to help retail structure to attract, develop, motivate and retain our workforce.

• Implement and adapt HR processes, policies and programs in accordance with company standards, image and local needs to maximise the effectiveness of the department and increase profit via our people´s potential

Areas of action

Talent attraction, hiring & Onboarding

• Make sure the MANGO global talent attraction, hiring and onboarding are efficient and adapted to the needs of the business and the different markets

• Implement the hiring strategy (internal and externally) to ensure all key roles are covered in the short and midterms

• Carry negotiations with suppliers to ensure good quality-to-price ration

• Follow up of onboarding correct implementation in stores through surveys analysis and providing adequate tools to the managers

Talent & Training

• Make sure we are developing our current leaders as well as the next generation of leaders to get them ready for the next challenge

• Provide assistance and guidance to Store Managers & Area Managers on the follow up and evaluation of their teams

• Work closely with Talent Department & Retail to identify areas of improvement and high potentials

• Follow up on the implementation of trainings from the HQ and collect constant feedback to be able to adapt quickly to the always changing reality of the stores

Employee relations

• Ensure high levels of engagement

• Visit in a regular basis the stores to evaluate the atmosphere and understand skill gaps/challenges in our teams and collaboratively offer solutions

• React to critical HR metrics such as absenteeism or leavers to react on time to any possible hidden problems and implement action plans with retail team

• Provide support to store managers and Area Managers with employees’ relations, conflict resolution and mediation when needed

Labour

• Be the first point of contact for managers and employees about questions or doubts regarding Labour topics

• Collect feedback and frequent asked questions from the stores to the HQ, making sure the information is flowing in both directions

• Organize updates with Country Manager/Area Managers and Labour department to update about changes in the legislation, align company behaviours, and help to find new solutions to reach out stores needs

Health and Safety

• Be the liaison between the H&S department and the stores, making sure our employees are safe in their workplace.

• Ensure all stores have effective H&S protocols in place during periodic visits

• Organize meetings and communicate with external H&S providers in each country to check changes and updates in the country legislation

• Actively report incidents and accidents

 

YOUR PROFILE

• 1-2 years experience in HR or related client-focused role.

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

• Thrives in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

• Available for travelling to the different stores on charge.
