Join a fast-growing IoT startup and support us in developing the next hardware generation.
What are you going to do:
Improving our current hardware platform, analyzing intercom systems and supporting the development of our next version of nello one in close collaboration with our experienced hardware and firmware engineers.
- Hacking and deciphering of various kinds of intercom systems
- Design, develop and test prototypes in close collaboration with the hardware team
- Develop C/C++ modules for a RTOS (Mbed OS)

What we ask:
- At least Abitur
- Enrolled student in 3rd semester or higher, preferably electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics, communications engineering or information systems
- Good understanding of C/C++ and embedded software programming
- Passion and curiosity for innovative technologies and products
- Self driven, responsible work attitude with clear communication
- Persistence, precision and reliability
- Fluent in English and/or German

nello simplifies urban life. We do that by enabling keyless access for residents and service providers. Our hardware, nello one, is an upgrade for your existing intercom unit that you control via the nello app. You get keyless entry into your apartment building and you will never miss a delivery anymore. Service providers can access your hallway and put their deliveries – parcels, groceries or food – right in front of your apartment door. We are a strong TUM / CDTM / INSEAD team of 15 with VC funding of EUR 3+m (BMW, KPN Ventures and SOSV).
